Early metalcore has more melodic and groovy elements, metalcore now has more technical riffs and complex beats and time signatures. I'm in my 30's I've been listening to subgenre of metal and I've embraced the changes, I loved it since the Killswitch Engage days till now, the ERRA days. I'd never choose or compare as long as they're metal 🤘🏽

Deathcore sucks and so do 7 and 8 string guitars.

I personally call nowadays Metalcore as Chug-chug metal 😁
